Lead On Australia is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.

In October 2010, Lead On Australia executed a management agreement with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited. This agreement allows the bank to manage the operations of Lead On Australia and progress the Lead On model in communities across Australia.

The agreement confirms the bank’s commitment to the Lead On philosophy and enhances the sustainability of Lead On Australia as an independent not-for-profit company.

Lead On Australia has enjoyed a long standing partnership with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, with the bank maintaining its position as the major corporate supporter of Lead On Australia since inception of Lead On in 1999.

Lead On Australia also enjoys relationships with a number of communities which utilise the Lead On Model, branding and philosophy to support young people through the development of a Lead On ‘site’.

Lead On sites are independent incorporated associations responsible for generating financial support from the community, business and government sectors to co-ordinate and deliver programs and activities to support local young people.

Lead On Australia has also supported communities to develop ‘outreach’ programs where communities and not-for-profit entities have supported activities using Lead On intellectual property, such as the youth newspaper initiative ‘LOOP’.
